This week Year 5 and 6 took part in the much anticipated, much rehearsed show of Bugsy Malone. Amidst searing heat and end of term illnesses, the children performed their hearts out. Staff are incredibly proud of how they have thrown themselves into the play and smiled through all the trials and tribulations. Thank you to all the parents and carers who supported through attending the play, providing costumes and practising at home and also to all the staff who gave so much time to help keep the show running.

Art in yr 3/4 and a Sea City Visit

KS1
Rowan and Maple class had a great day at the Sea City Museum in Southampton today. The children explored a range of resources that would have been on board the Titanic including ceramic hot water bottles, hair curlers, oil bags that were on the lifeboats and many other items. They also discussed who they would save if they were in charge of the lifeboats, matched rooms to where they were on board the ship, used their sense of smell to work out some smells that may have been present in different areas of the ship (including fire and smelly feet for the gymnasium!) We had a guided tour of some of the museum and then spent some of the afternoon doing our own quizzes. The children were excellent and learnt a lot, a great day!
Integr8 Dance extravaganza
Children from Stanmore Primary School took part in a dance performance at the Theatre Royal in Winchester on Friday 24th June. Staff managed to sneak in for the dress rehearsals and everyone looked amazing. Good luck for tonight everyone.
