Parent - School Communication

Our open door policy is designed to ensure communication between parents and the school are as effective as they can be.

We want the BEST for every pupil in our school and open, two way communication between parents and staff is vitally important to ensure we achieve this.

Our school works on an open door policy and we encourage parents and carers to speak to us as early as they can if they are unsure about anything or want to discuss a particular issue no matter how big or small it may seem. By talking about things as they happen, we are better able to deal with them quickly and effectively.

There are a number of ways you can easily get in touch:

  • Speak to your child’s class teacher in person - this is best done at the end of the day once the children have been dismissed. A quick conversation is welcome and can sort most things out, but if the matter is a bit more complex, they may suggest a phone call at a later time or an appointment to talk through in more detail.

  • A member of our senior leadership is always available at the front of the school each morning. Please feel free to say hello and approach them with any queries you may have. They should be able to deal with most things there and then, but may suggest a phone call at a later time or an appointment to talk through in more detail.

If you are unable to be at school and speak face to face due to work or other commitments, then you can request an appointment by calling the school office or using the form below.
