Welcome
A warm welcome to the Stanmore Primary School website. We hope you will enjoy browsing our pages, meeting our children and staff, all of them determined to ‘be the best that they can be…’

Welcome

Welcome to Stanmore Primary School

Committed to purposeful and irresistible learning where children are inspired to thrive.

Mrs Justine Brooks

Stanmore Primary School, for children aged 4 -11, is located just over a mile outside Winchester City Centre. Set in large, mature landscaped grounds, we aim to provide an inspiring education through a stimulating and caring environment. Our school vision, (see above) is delivered through our strong ethos and learning values.
At Stanmore we have high expectations of all our children and staff and encourage everyone to ‘be the best they can be’
Our core learning values of creativity, independence, interdependence, spirituality, emotional intelligence and thinking are central to the day to day life of the school. We strive to meet the needs of all our learners and very much want to work in partnership with you to enable us to do this.
As Headteacher at the school, I am committed to every child achieving their full potential through a wide range of learning opportunities.

As a staff, we are always reviewing our practice and refining and improving our teaching so we are ’the best we can be’.

In a recent Governor questionnaire, our parents were asked how they would describe our school. Their generous and supportive feedback has been transformed into the word cloud below.

I am excited to be taking our school on the next stage of our journey and would be delighted to welcome you and your child to our school.
I hope you will enjoy browsing our website and find it useful for learning more about us.
